Drilling Rigs

  • Valard and its subsidiary – Sharp’s Construction Services – provide equipment for the excavation of drilled shafts as large as 144” (3.66m) in diameter and 131' (40m) in depth.
  • The core of our drilling capacity is in several late-model Watson drills. Valard/Sharp’s operates both truck-mounted drilling equipment and track-mounted rigs.
  • Drilling equipment is supported by hoist-equipped tractors and a complete complement of casing equipment, auxiliary augers and other drilled-shaft equipment on dedicated highway trailers.
