Valard’s Health, Safety and Environment department is dedicated to the safety of all our employees. Our HS&E team works to ensure that each employee has the necessary training and skills to prevent damage to themselves, others and equipment. Our rigorous employee training and ongoing development of effective safe work practices and procedures have contributed to the success of our HS&E program.

We are environmentally responsible. Valard recognizes the importance of environmental protection and enhancement. Working closely with federal, provincial and local levels of government, we strive to reduce any environmental impacts associated with our operations.

Our HS&E department has developed various work procedures and polices to prevent the spillage of hazardous waste as well as procedures for the proper disposal of garbage generated from our construction activities.
