Don is a seasoned utility and construction executive with over 20 years of experience leading transmission and distribution projects across North America. Since joining Valard in 2010, he has progressed through engineering, project management, and corporate leadership roles, and now oversees U.S. operations.

With a degree in civil engineering and an MBA from the University of Calgary, Don blends technical expertise with business strategy to drive growth, improve execution, and support strong field leadership. He also holds the CFA® designation and is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Canada.

Don played a key role in launching GRD, a Quanta company focused on transmission line construction, and continues to lead its expansion across the United States. As Vice President, Don focuses on expanding Valard’s presence in the U.S. by fostering client relationships, mentoring field leadership, and ensuring operational excellence from project development through execution.
