Jacob holds a Master’s in Accounting and earned his CPA designation early in his career at KPMG. He brings a strong financial foundation and a track record of partnering with operational and executive teams to drive growth and long-term value. A champion of continuous improvement, he pushes organizations to reach new levels of performance while striving to remove complexity and create clarity across the business.

Prior to joining Valard, Jacob served for eight years as CFO of McCoy Global, a TSX-listed oil and gas company, followed by eight years as CFO of Driving Force, a leading commercial rental and fleet management company, gaining broad experience across capital markets, operations, and implementing growth strategies. As Chief Financial Officer, Jacob focuses on strengthening the company’s financial foundation and partnering across the business to support disciplined growth and long-term value.

Actively involved in the community, Jacob currently serves as a Board Member and Audit Committee Chair of Covenant Health Foundation.
