Darcy is a seasoned Indigenous Partnership and Infrastructure Development Executive with over 20 years of experience fostering meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities. His deep expertise in engagement and governance frameworks helps drive impactful collaboration and sustainable project delivery.

Before joining Valard, Darcy served as Senior Director, Business Development and Commercial Planning at Nukik Corporation, where he led commercial development and engagement for one of Canada’s largest Indigenous-led transmission infrastructure projects. He previously worked at BC Hydro Power Authority, spearheading commercial strategies to develop new transmission lines and facilitating the delivery of some of the company’s largest transmission and generation projects. Additionally, as Director of Business Development at Nexterra Systems Corp., he played a key role in the development of a $150 million renewable energy project.

Darcy holds a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business from the University of Victoria.
