Labrador-Island Link Transmission Line

350 kV Overhead High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Transmission Line

This project was 1,092 km in length, connecting the Muskrat Falls Generating Facility in central Labrador to Soldiers Pond on Newfoundland’s Avalon Peninsula. Completing this project was a massive achievement. We could not have reached this point of completion without the dedication and commitment of all our staff. Many of which were hired locally.
