Shell Saturn Substation

Supplying Reliable Grid Energy

This project was Valard’s third in-house EPC substation and the first of two sites being designed by Valard for Shell in the area.

One of the greatest feats of the project was that we were responsible for the entire existing electrical building retrofit, which was done entirely under live conditions; work inside the facility was meticulously planned and executed with no unplanned service outages or interruptions. The plant was previously powered by two gas fire turbines.
